BLUE & GOLD BANQUET: Fellers Cake Contest 2012
Pack 125 News
The Pack 125 Annual Fellerʼs cake contest will be held at the February Blue and Gold Banquet. Traditionally this event is for Cub Scouts and their Dads to try something new and take a stab at making a cake they can both be proud of. Remember this is a project for the boys! The adult should be there to assist and handle the oven part, but let the boys have fun creating something wonderful (and usually making a BIG MESS that Dad has to clean up!).

THEME: Ready, Set, Go! RULES:
* All cakes must be delivered and setup at the Blue & Gold by 6:00 PM.
* All cakes must have a title. Please no Scout names on the cakes are allowed.
* The entire cake, decorations and supports must be completely edible! No plastic, wax, wood or any other indigestible materials are allowed as part of the entry.
* Only male cooks, advisors and cleanup crews are allowed! Brothers, Uncles, Cousins and Grandfathers are all allowed to help but no assistance or advice from Moms, Grandmothers, Sisters or Aunts or other girls. If you do not have any access to a male assistant contact the Cubmaster!
* Moms, sisters, aunts and other girls are encouraged and expected to watch, enjoy and take pictures of the creation of the culinary masterpiece.
* No commercial cakes allowed. You may use boxed cake mixes, icing mixes or pre-made icing and decorations but you must mix and decorate your own cake.
* Crackers, cookies and other solid foods may be used for decorations and as an ingredient; however, the entire creation may not be created exclusively of these items.
* We will be eating these culinary masterpieces for dessert; however, all leftovers (if any) must be taken home by the creators.
* A cake may only win one award and the cakeʼs appropriate category will be selected by the judges.
* Peoplesʼ Choice votes must be voiced by the people to the judges and the judges will determine the consensus.
* Women attendees of the Blue and Gold may volunteer to be judges! Contact Carrie Ellis in advance or at the Banquet to volunteer, please!
